Finding a log cabin with a hot tub can be quite frustrating, especially when they only accept one booking at a time and hundreds of people are eager to enjoy a hot tub break.
But don’t worry. Our team of experts has created a blog post that will guide you step by step, with screenshots, on the most efficient way to view the availability calendar for the lodges you want to book.
1. Find your destination
Find your destination by browsing the top menu and click on the accommodation you’d like to book. You’ll typically be redirected to Booking.com, as they have the largest selection of lodges with hot tubs.
Once you’re on Booking.com, even if it says “Sold out on Booking.com!”, click on the lodge anyway.
2. Find the calendar
Once inside, you need to click on the “Modify check-in date” button to display the full calendar and see which days are available. Days marked with a dash “-” are booked. Days showing a price are available.
3. Find another lodge or book it!
If you haven’t found availability for your preferred dates, you can repeat the process for other lodges. I know it can be a bit tedious, but within 10 minutes, you’ll likely find one.
Once you find one, if it offers free cancellation, I recommend booking it right away, as it might not be available a few hours later.
If the accommodation doesn’t have free cancellation and you need to consult with your partner, I suggest not closing the Booking.com reservation window and returning to it as soon as you’re ready to book. This way, you won’t lose the information, and it will be easier to find the lodge again.
